Snap Dan. just picked up a 2005 115 MWB MR t350 good news is a joiner owned it before and the racking is superb.

Took ages to remove 4 years of clutter from my old van!

I got a couple of residential sites visited - mainly litter picking as the bulk of the shrub care has already been done. Then I visited a local dealer and decided on a van; a 2006 MWB/MR transit, T350, perfect size for me, fair enough price at £6k (yes I know you can get cheaper but I'll have a full MOT, service, they are also sorting a few things to my spec such as paint and bulkhead), and came home to get some insurance quotes and do a bit of admin on some potential new jobs too.

Aah would have loved a 115! Yer lucky I didn't see that one first :)  But I do like the 06-onwards front end a bit better.

lol you can really feel the extra bhp compared to my old van which struggled to reach 60 mph!

However if this one is half as reliable as my old one I shall be happy it never let me down, It was the dreaded Ford rust that done for it in the end.

I had one commercial and one domestic maintenance job today, a bit of weeding, a lot of hoe-ing, scraping and blowing car park gulleys, picking up a lot of broken roof tiles, pruning. The commercial site had a section of fence down so just sending a quote for that, plus came home to 2 new enquiries for domestic maintenance rounds this season.

People are planning early this year!

After spending all day yesterday replacing broken fence posts and panels, we have had a rest from hole digging and concrete breaking today. Today we have been working in a church yard clearing ivy from almost anything that is vertical, whether it be walls and roofs or trees and hedges its been a mammoth task but one that should be completed tomorrow.

Felling a couple of Cedrus atlantica f. glauca. Shame they had to come down but the roots were lifting the patio.

today's job 20% reduction of a whitebeam for a guy I climb for

I have been working through much of the required paperwork for Safe Contractor accreditation. I am sure there will be suggested amendments but for now it is coming together.

just put up 10 panels concrete gravels plus posts today in the freezing rain fingers were nunb roll on spring

fixing an oil leak on one of are snow ploughs. becasue you never know we may get to use it soon!!!!!

Day at home today, Started the machine maintenance, got one mower washed, sharpened, oil change and plugged. got washed and changed and went out for dinner with my dad for his birthday, took my mum and missus to see the wedding dress (don't worry ladies i didn't see it!)

Then home back into work clothes serviced the big Honda, and the Strimmer. ended up working with the worklamp on the van because it got dark. Hedgecutter is brand new so that'll be o.k, and i'll do the chainsaw when i've finished the upcoming tree work.

And i'm going to make a start on th Osprey this week too, that needs a bit more doing to it.

Back to work tomorrow, Nice to know the machines are all ready for the coming season.
