For the first time this year we had to postpone ops and find something else to do - that has to be a record in the West Mids.

Serviced and cleaned mowers and moved machinery to store for overwintering.

Forecast good for the rest of the week and making the day up on X-mas eve.

Ouch, antibiotics and no booze for you then - Merry Cristmas :-S

My phone is playing up too. Nearly threw it out the van window today. Got flipping toothache - infection in a root canal. owwwww

Did my CS30 and CS31 assessment today, no problem. Now qualified (and insured) to do new types of job in addition to all the others.

New sofa got delivered in time for Christmas, and some more admin up to date tonight. Nice productive day.

Yeah, christmas is cancelled now. Sob,sob...

Got to work - stepped out the van onto carpark we had to clear.... and were glad we had some ice grippers with us - one poor old guy tried to bring us an xmas card but went flying as did another a bit latter – The grippers we've got were only £5 but they worked for us today. I'm wearing some heavy Dickies boots at the moment but they're no good on ice.

Don't be tempted by a tipple, if its the antibiotic I think it is, its used to treat alcoholics one drink massive chunder - not nice

rain all day today so i cut  and split about a 1m3 of timber for my wood burner with the electric saw and splitter in the shed sadly it will not be ready till next winter, i think i might have to bye some to get me through this winter

Spent the day driving a brand new 1.5 tonne digger! Same for the rest of the week, joys of heating and a radio

Extending a school playground, few shrubs to dig out, ditches to be re-dug and some compost heaps to move. Will keep me busy until Friday

laid just over 200 turfs, they had to be the heaviest turf i have ever laid after the rain yesterday, hope it dry tomorrow as 4 sets of single steps to build to match patio, and shed to build to finish the job off before xmas

No work done today! Drove behind my dad while he took his MG to a garage to sort out his head gasket, both to bring him home and incase it blew up and he needed a tow.

Then went back to dads to sort out his computer again, then instead of going to work I went and sat in the cafe where my missus works and feasted on egg and Bacon rolls and coffee!

What a lazy sod!!

Sorry to hear that J.P, Hope your nan's ok!!

spent the morning sweeping leaves etc from a regular customer , then another visit to the local hospital to see my grandmother , she had a triple bypass at 85 3 weeks ago and was marvelous !

last week her stair lift stuck on the stairs she bumped it to work and fell down the stairs and  broke her leg . shes now into her second week being moved around wards because theres no room for her .....dignity goes out of the window when your elderly and in hospital me thinks .

dont want to grow old !!:(

Finishing off a few loose ends today, got another (that's 4) bottles of wine from customers, which is really very kind of them but i can't stand wine! lol, never mind the missus will no doubt drink it, if not my dad will :-)
