Cippo any day.

Had a very profitable day today saying I am meant to be on holiday . ( We've delayed going to Snowdonia until Wednesday as the wife's going to a school open day tommorow).

Fitted in a few hedge cuts that I otherwise would not have fitted in for another six weeks.

Fishcakes and salad for dinner.

Paul... Dan –- Never watched it seriously but d'you think Cavendish would have beaten Cipollini in a sprint finish ;-) .... talking of sprinters - there's an old banger round here with a number plate - ADHIOS – I'd pay money for that one on the back of my van :-)

Have you noticed todays become a food close out...

Its late but I've just had a cheddar cheese and spring onion sandwich roll...that sort of thing. I have -just!

We had a weekend off - tara - in Anglessey.

Do I feel relaxed and rejuvenated, no, is Holyhead a good weekend destination,no, do I regret going....oh no.

Finished another project today moving approx 12t of topsoil in trailer....invoice time...and on to the next job(s).

pork chops for tea and a celebratory beer!!!

Pork tenderloin in a bacon and mushroom sauce, mash and veggies, ice cold lager.

Oh - a bit of hedgecutting, mowing , weeding and spraying before I hit the recipe book:-)

Four regulars today - chasing a mower for most off it.

Off now until Monday. I'm still trying to work out how I was talked into going camping.

( Sausage, beans and egg)

very busy today, 7 jobs done mainly mowing caught up with the ones i didn't get done yesterday, finished at 7.

Knackered!!!

Scampi, chips and peas!

Very poor Paul - you'll be eating that lot in your leaky tent over the next few days.....disappointed from Shropshire:-)

Enjoy your break - were are you going btw?

5 jobs today, all regulars in one way or another. Firstly a garden that I am 'rescuing' from being extremely overgrown on just 2.5 hours a week, then on to a regular OAP job for some 2 hours of rotovating, levelling and weeding, then a quick lawn cut for a customer that I thought was still working abroad, but seems to be back (although not in when I called), then the last two lawn jobs within a mile of one another and two miles of home.....

Everything seems out to get me today, what with the trailer number plate falling off, the rotovator trying to run me over when unloading it and the clutch going faulty on the van - arrrghhhh
Bedgellert in Snowdonia.

My last two attempts at camping ended up with us renting an appartment and staying with relatives.

At least its only 3 hours from home if I get really hacked off.

Hey Rowly im sure you were drawn to wonder in amazement at Holyhead Penrhos latest output - a KFC drive through.  Holyhead is good to wipe yr feet on as you get on the Dublin ferry though!

Yep gathered that Andy - only one decent restaurant - which was booked up, a dead high st and loads of boarded up shops. I did quip that the best meal we might get was on the ferry docked in the harbour...I was probably right. Quite frankly Holyhead has not got much going for it.

Good time out though and a worthwhile break and breakfast in Benllech Bay was excellent - eaten outdoors and superbly cooked and presented.
