What annoys you on a regular basis in this industry? (warning - this is a 'bob a job gardener-free' thread, we know that annoys you already.)

The fact that somehow the word 'literally' has become an adjective??? Even politicians are doing it.

Some corkers off match of the day

These balls now - they literally explode off your feet.

He's literally left Ben Haim for dead there.

He had to cut back inside onto his left, because he literally hasn't got a right foot.

He's literally turned him inside out.

That cross to Rooney was literally on a plate.

Me being called 'Dude', or us being called 'Guys', by some prepubescent serving in a cafe or shop.

The word 'Enjoy' annoys me too..harummph!

the scottish who when pissed call everyone Jimmy

see you Jimmy :)

oh and them sottish barstuards who stole our turf in 1974 :)

when you send a detailed quote to a customer with a covering letter , that basically says we value the chance of your business and will always happily do our best to match the cost of another quote of the same spec, and youre more than happy to look at alternative specs or budgets for them to develop the job. Then find they give the job to someone else who was cheaper, but priced a completely different job, or they tell you that you were slightly more expensive, so went with the cheaper one, but would have preferred to use you. THEN WHY DIDNT YOU TALK TO ME!!!!!!

PMSL Mick, GUILTY as charged your honour :-)

Been waiting for this!

Laurel trees - of the can you just take a few feet off the top kind
Stihl fuel caps
Indecisive customers
It's only gardening why do you want more than £10 hour?
EBay items that finish early

Think that's it but i have the day ahead of me!

The little swines in the factories that remove the just right setting

from the shower temperature switch.  Cold - luke warm - boiling.

1/ People who ' let their mouth out ' before ' engaging their brain '

2/ People not respecting each others views when they are legitimate and relevant.

3/ People who are rude. Full stop.

See it a lot on forums.....

Any and everything should be on the list - I guess you mean grumpy old people ? ;-)

My comments were meant as a contribution to your post- have you taken them personally ? That was not my intention....If I have offended you my apologies....

I noticed your first reply was just after my earlier reply.....  lol

But I didn't think that you were referring to me :)

It just shows how things can easily be taken the wrong way.
