North Atlantic swell makes landfall Monday morning
This certainly looks like a big (super) storm! It's quite scary in fact.

We were fairly near Porthleven in Cornwall working today, if you knew Porthleven you would know how big this swell is - on the north coast a monument battered over the last c200 year washed away from a harbour. 30+feet reported on both coasts and is not far from Sennen that appears in Micks' link. I have never seen anything like it, I can confirm a Stihl leaf blower did not contribute much to the day!.....
