if she goes for decking then you need to consider planning aspect if the deck is above 300mm above ground level

yes if the deck is over 300mm above existing ground level then there may be a need for a planning application. it does of course come down to where the local authority decide they count there existing ground level to be on a sloping site. we get so many different answers its un real. one authority we regularly put planning in for and another right next door discount the exact same type of job
