I was on line this morning and came across this Pinched products I know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery but lifting not only my product but also my picture of it has seriously pissed me off.

This website is quite useful for anyone worried that their images are being used without permission...

http://www.tineye.com/

It's clever in that it will search for the image, not the file name or tags. So even if the image has been stripped of meta data or even altered in photoshop it will pick it up. It only searches images that they have already processed from the web, but they've collected over 2 billion so far.

Thanks Chris

There are people who place no value on the time spent designing and developing a product, for me it usually takes a day to build the prototype, sometimes longer, that is after I can actually see it in my mind. Once the design is sorted it can take a day or so to make the assembly jigs and the tools.

My biggest concern at the moment with these people lifting my stuff is that they may not be intending to actually supply the goods that people have ordered after viewing the images of my products, it could get pretty messy.

I have just emailed them telling them to remove the rest of my products from their site.

Just sent them fourth email with links to the pages concerned as well as the pictures they have taken down the Monet rose trainer but not the rest of the stuff. They say they have removed it and can't see the stuff and asked for links to the pages for their tech guys.

If it isn't off tomorrow I will follow the let google know route that Chris outlined with his link.
