rusted locks

sorry to start off another boring discussion,but i tried to get into my locked garden shed today and found the lock had rusted,squireted wd40 but had no luck unlocking it any ideas would be appreciated

    assuming it is an integral lock then try a dismantling lubricant. The popular one that I used to use was called "Plus Gas"
    which after looking on the nett is still available. I am sure there are other makes available from somewhere like Halfords

    It is a different product than WD40 and penetrates deep into rusted up components. Best leave it a while after application to obtain the full chemical reaction.
