Hi all,

I'm doing my PA1/6 course soon and want to offer a full lawn treatment service, as opposed to just mowing and edging that I do now.

I understand the treatments and timings (occasionally use off the shelf B&Q products the customer buys) and how to scarify and aerate I just don't know the best products that a professional lawn care company would use.

What does everyone on here use? I've been looking at Pitchcare as a supplier but there's a huge choice.

Also, what applicator do you use? They range from £30 - £300.

cheers

Justin

Spreader costs do vary. Having done thousands of treatments with professional products I could only recommend broadcast spreaders, hence I now only sell them types. It's quite right to watch patios if the fertiliser contains Fe, the rust stains don't come off! The hand spreaders are good for smaller lawns.

do you sell the chemicals?

Which spreader would you recommend for my circumstances?

I do small to medium lawns on private properties so lots of borders, paths patios etc. close to the lawn.

Could you do a deal on a spreader and sprayer to suit - 1 man setup, for occasional use

cheers

Justin

Hi, if you dont ask you dont get!

If you want me to email you a 10% discount code for a spreader and a cooper pegler knapsack
(and anything else you need) let me know.

At present we don't do the chemicals, will do soon.

Paul

Sorry missed what you said.

A medium range broadcast spreader, may be an Earthway 2600a / 2150.

Hi Justin,

I know this is an old post but we have just joined LJN and I am just browisng through old threads to see if we can be of any help to anyone.  We supply various lawn care companies with fertiliser and also advice on the correct product to be using for individual situations. If you would like us to send you a product list with prices then please let us know. Or if you would like to chat to someone then we would be happy to offer any advice or recomendations.

Many thanks

Shona
