Pro honda lawn mower

Using my honda pro today one of the lads mistakenly had the setting low at the back and high at the front , would this cause any damage??,it made a grinding sound when pulled backwards thanksThe settings were 1 at the back 5 at the front so basically the front was a lot higher than the back any views thanks

  • At worst the blade but I'm guessing everything will be okay.
  • sometimes the front will catch as it was set low

  • The front was high the back was low
  • A stone in the roller. sometimes they get jammed.

  • I set mine up on damper lawns low at the front and high at the back...a notch difference between the two..I find it helps, can't see a problem for the mower on what he's done but the lawn may think different !?

  • No harm to the mower at all. In wet conditions it helps to have one end raised more, there's been a lot of discussion about whether you should have the front or rear higher!

Can't ever remember having the setting on it's lowest though. Might have scalped the lawn a bit.

  • Think I would be more worried about your operative Chris!

  • If the grass is longer then raise the front. It will then cut the grass twice with each revolution. Front high & back low is perfect for leaves.
