It has become like getting blood out of a stone,

what the hell is happening on lJN ????

Are you so busy on the stupid chat room that

questions on the important forum are just ignored. Yuk

I am taking a long break from LJN and will

return in the future if things change.

Thanks to all those who have responded to my

previous posts, may you all continue to be positive.

  All the best

John - take the evening off and come back - activity is down due to the heat - many of us are in the shade panting for breath.

I started on the forums from the very start, and it's always the same at this time of year. Please don't take this the wrong way but people are just to busy to be posting on here when they get home after a hell of a long day.

Hi John,

Consider the time, 9.45 pm Sat night, blue skies all day, first time in ages a sunny weekend, maybe everyone is just not ready to discuss your never ending list of subjects....LOL

I never bother with the chat and only reply to things if I can add useful comments.

I guess the good weather means that everyone's chasing their tails a bit!

Nick

Don't go John, i will miss you. The eco movement needs voices such as yours. I have been more tired than usual of late because of the heat and work load and so have not contributed quite as much as usual. The forum has lost a few key players recently, please don't be another one added to that list.

John, don't take it personally - just remember what are important topics and threads to you, me and some others will not be so important to remainder on LJN and vice versa.

Certainly the weather has people's minds on other things at the mo..... :-)

John,

Sadly l think that for numerous reasons LJN has lost some very key and active members in the last year... we are definitely seeing the effects of this!

Craig

True - the loss of this experience has certainly hit responses and help given - undermining the value of ljn.

Toys cot....out..?

It's always quiet when it's this busy....!

That's a good thing !!!!!?

Off to cut the grass ;-)

I don't go to the pub every night. Maybe a couple of times on the trot and then not for days or weeks sometimes.

Same with LJN. I drop in, catch up, chip in if I think it might help and just observe if I can't add anything usefull.

Look on LJN as a Pub and not a Church, sometimes the regulars are in and the craic is good, sometimes you miss them by minutes. Nothing to get wound up about though everyones got a life elsewhere in addition

Great flounce, John! ;)

We're all blaming the weather!

I know you care John but I wouldn't worry:)

LJN serves (has served) its purpose for many people. There are groups across the British Isles who've met their friends or sucked out what they've needed and moved on to pastures new - these people have long since forgotten where the first connection occurred.

2,000 visits a day is about the average but we are down to 1,800 for the last two days. I think (as  mentioned) the nice weather will mean many are outside rather than at their computer.

Believe me, LJN is a lot busy than any other garden forum  in the UK:)
