Perks of the job

Just wondering what perks you get from time to time. Today we were asked to clear some strawberry beds to make way for a new patio. The client didn't want the strawberries as they "already had a freezer full". We came home with 3 lbs of fresh strawberries, and our landscaper had another 3.

  • The perks of the job for me are the rather awesome people that have me work in their gardens...lots of tea and cake and sharing of harvests and great stories. I've also been to various gatherings that they've had and most of them send me a postcard when they go away :o)
  • Got a trip to the Hampton Court Gala this year - including the picnic! A lovely gesture and really appreciated.
