You might all be wondering why no newsletter as yet.
The front door lock on the Gite has broken and I am racing against time (4pm) to get a new one fitted before our nest guests arrive.
I bought a new lock yesterday afternoon, brought it back (sealed pack) and found that the key does not fit. Exchanged it this morning - watched the shop owner try the key and turn the lock - get it back and it doesn't work. I think he did must of muddled the identical looking keys up and gave me back the other set.
I have got to get back and exchange and then fit the new lock in time. I will do the newsletter just as soon as I can.
