a word of note the website address on the business cards does not match the actual website address, i do have the domain name but i am tranferring it to my website builder at the moment

http://www.oneill-landscapers-group.com/

What do you do?

doesn't say it on the card.

Company owner? - Do I care, - would prefer to know what's in it for me. -

i.e - Creator of patios you can drink your gin and admire your garden from

When i've been to networking events and people have given me business cards (note, - given me, not me asking for one) - if there isn't something memorable on the card to give me a clue as to who they were - photo, catch phrase, why they are the exact person i'd want to employ,- then the card gets binned.

Hope that helps

doesnt really look like a landscapers business card, more like someone who owns a hotel or pub

Gives all the necessary information for someone who wants to contact you, but it doesn't really entice or sell your product/services.

Pay a designer a small fee to produce something that will grab.  Yes, it will cost slightly more but it will sell far, far more too.  Well worth it.  If you have a printing.com near you they are excellent at that type of thing.

compared to your web site design they look very poor, sorry, just my take on them. They look more like business cards advertising you and the reverse side will actually be read as the front, not that really matters which side is which, just looks like your advertising Benjamin O'Neill, not your company's services.

just round the corner from me ben.

My advice would be- don't use vistaprint. First impressions count- you should try someone local who can design and print them- then you can see the quality before they are printed.

Take out 'company owner'. Your name's O'Neill, 'nuff said!

Take out 'Email'. Anyone ever intending to email you, will recognise an email address when they see one.

Put in 'Award-winning garden design and landscaping' as per your website home page.

Your card repeats info on both sides. You don't need your phone numbr and web address again on the back. What's the logo all about? It doesn't appear on your website.

Hi brian nice to meet you are you a landscaper / gardener or just someone who like to do gardening ?

hi guys i really do apreciate the comment and i do take them as a prioty concern to my business as my advertising will be going out soon, the problem im having is ive consultd logo and business designers in my area and i feel slightly unimpressed by the quality of the designs not that they look ametuerish, but like dont grab me personally, any suggesions or recommended companies that i can see designs that grab you and make ask for more info, or atleast for know a typical formato of what should be included on a business card that works and how much info should be incuded, so atleast i can get started with this years advertising ?

Hi dan the logo is the coat of arms for my family name "O'Neill" i was playing with the idea of using it but its a really hard design to incorporate with landscaping.
