Moving a gate post

Hi all, I am not a landscaper so don't have a clue, I need my brick gate post moving about 1 foot, to make it bigger for my van, the post is connected to a small wall that is just over a foot high. Can anybody give me a rough ball park figure how much this would cost, as the post is to be re built and the wall made slightly smaller there will be no need for new bricks.Any replies would be great

  • It would help if you posted a photo, otherwise would be a pure guess.

Re-using the old bricks will most likely be more expensive than buying new ones.

  • You could get a smaller van, just a thought.
