"Motorists are facing record diesel prices at the pumps after instability in the Persian Gulf led to an unprecedented rise in wholesale costs.

The average price of diesel on UK forecourts hit 141p a litre over the weekend.

Experts predict that by the end of January the cost of diesel will top the 143p a litre peak it reached on May 9 last year."

Brilliant

personaly i dont think how much fuel goes up, we all need it, look what happened when people started to protest against the fuel prices, all the fuel stations started running out of fuel and the goverment just sat back and waited for the general public to start panicing when they were nearly out of fuel in their cars, it all turned round and people started moaning about the protesters, the goverment will never make the fuel cost go down as they get so much money in revenues of tax, why would they?
