Machinery. The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly.

I have used many different machines over the years. On balance I have found that you get what you pay for. There have been a few exeptions.Early Mountfields (1980's) I found were a good basic contactors mower. Not the case now and they know it.I then had a couple of Harry's. The deck was very good but they used a Tecumseh 4 stroke engine. The first Harry died after twenty minutes. The engine pushed the con rod through the side of the casing. I put a 5hp briggs lump on it and it cut fine until it was stolen. The second harry had the same problem, this time lasting until a week outside it guarentee.Currently using Masports. Best machines yet. They do a reasonable job of everything. A jack of all trades but a master of none wich is what I need until the perfect mower is invented for a reasonable price.In general I'm impressed with the Masport mowers and I run stihls for every thing else and can't complain.What are your experiances?
