    Hi Susan

Can the supplier not help...or is it a private purchase?

Put the details of your load on www.truckspace.co.uk You will get quotes within minutes. Its free and only takes a minute. We found hauliers on there and they were good.

  • Try Brian LLoyd. Based in Leicestershire and are always working in the Yorkshire area. I will PM you his number. Very good firm, lots of experience of delivering stone. They also have a moffat option as well

  • try Colletts based in halifax www.collett.co.uk

  • thanks a lot everyone, this is such a great great resource this site :)

yes the supplier can ship but want to charge £1700 which is a bit steep.

  • Might be worth looking at hauliers in Perthshire rather than the other way around. I find prices can be better in different regions.
Slightly amusing is the advert for 'rapid parcels' that's appearing under your post!
    All best,
    David
