Localise your business with Google Maps
One of the best ways to help your business and be found by potential customers in your locality is to sign up for Google Maps for local search. You need to make sure that your customers are finding you easily.
1. Sign in to the Google Local Business Centre. or sign up if you don't yet have an account and - just follow the simple steps.

Its an excellent way of getting your business in the top match on Google - just be sure you take some time deciding EXACTLY what search terms your customers are likely to use to find you. We put ourselves down as "garden centre" but then found of course that if you search for "garden centres" we're not on the list!
