Living Walls and Vertical Growing

Firstly, hello to everyone again, I've not been on here for ages!

The company has been very busy with a mixture of actual paid work and trying to promote Minigarden vertical growing and living wall systems, as we have just become the UK distributor for them.

If you have any enquiries relating to living or green walls, do get in touch as our system is very cost effective at £250 per square metre fitted, which includes installation, plants and irrigation. The only additional costs are generally travel and stopover costs depending on where the project is.

We're also still involved in green roofing and wildflower meadow creation and maintenance, again if you need any help or advice please get in touch

Sorry for the blatant plugging of our company but if you don't ask you don't get!

Hope everyone is well, busy and enjoying the sunshine!

All the best

Ross Jackson

  • Good morning Ross,

Can you show us some examples of your work by providing a link please? I'm very interested in green walls & roofs but have just sadly heard that a very large installation on a commercial project in Canning Town has died for the second time which is not encouraging.

  • Hi Helen, sorry for taking ages to get back to you, I've been away over Easter.

Our living wall system has a very good success rate, unfortunately other systems can be left very precarious by things like irrigation systems failing or (unbelievable but true!) being switched off. Each plant has approximately four litres of soil to grow in, so variations in temperature and climatic conditions are not such an issue.

Please drop me a line if you need any further info

  • Morning Ross,

Thanks for response. On one of the occasions the Canning Town living wall system failed it was indeed switched off...I won't tell you the details of the story but just to say it was like a comedy sketch that became rather unfunny.

And thanks for including your mail address.

    Helen

  • Garden Beet has been selling and installing mini-garden in the UK and Europe for the last three years. We believe the product performs well in certain situations however like all products it has limitations.

We have set up an independent website where installers, designers and the DIY public can thrash through the issues.

We provide an assessment of the various DIY systems available worldwide.

We also provide guidance on setting up your own vertical garden business. We talk about supply of the various products, the different living wall manufacturers and how they support your business to grow.

Vertical Garden Online provides an opportunity for REAL dialogue without the marketing spiel.
