Limestone : cost effect alternatives to the top end Limestones ....Anyone

Any advice anyone :

I have used a number of top end priced ....& very nice Limestones , However I am looking for an alternative that could be more cost effective.

All the limestones I have used in past have been close-bedded , so I am not looking for anything `pitted` so to speak like travertine....as you can never keep looking clean.

The only more cost effective one I have used with success has been a Bulgarian Limestone , although this is very light in colour tone and not always suitable .

 

Any possible suggestions would be appreciated.
