I don't know if it is any use to you at all but we have in the past made lawn edging from steel, please give me a call if you think I may be able to help.

We have used Rite-Edge aluminum edging a number of times - excellent!

When looking at plastic or recycled edgings there are few points.

The thicker it is the better.

Smart edge is 1.8 mm  ( most cheap one that do not last  are 0.5mm or less)

 

We supply 2mm and 3mm ( extra heavy duty) for professional use. + discount to trade.

Here are some benefits:

1. As some metal tends to rust- there is a massive issue of safety

from reading online pets tend to suffer from it. ( google dog/ pet,  metal edgings garden and injury)

results are shocking .

 

2. Cost and ease: easier to deliver in rolls , to cut to size. and cost less.

3. As I was a garden designer and a landscaper myself I tried to design good products,

So you can get our edgings at 6 inches deep compare to smartedge 4-5 inches, (and thicker)

so looks far better once installed. In addition if needed can be screwed to our stakes.

 

the stakes are 450mx38x38mm recycled plastic.
