Yes be careful - Last week I picked up a reclaimed paving slab and it had Glass embedded in the old mortar on the underside - Cut my hand badly, I wont post the pictures as their is alot of blood - but that was striaght through a pair of gloves and a deep cut - Just a quick look before could have avoided it!
i was just sawing an indian stone slab before or after i spoke to you today phil.
it was unbalanced slightly and i was aware after re-positioning it that my right toes were next to my spinning diamond disc. i was wearing sturdy trainers , but was aware i should have had steel- toe cap boots on.
it was only a few cuts ............................... one slight slip and a plastic trainer would be sliced like melted butter (toes included).
safety 1st !!
