The inaugural Landscape Juice Network AGM will be held on thr 23 March 2012 at the ibis Birmingham.

The meeting room has been booked from 5pm but subject to members thoughts, we are in a position to adjust the time (within reason) to suit.

Several members have already booked to stay overnight and if you wish to do so then it's best to book online to get the best deal. However online deals can change without notice and are non-refundable and you cannot change the booking after it's confirmed.

I've been dealing with Conference Co Ordinator Luiana Nobrega and she tells me that if you wish to book via the telephone, quote Landscape Juice conference and you are guaranteed £49.00 for the night for bed and breakfast.

The address is:

So that I am able to keep tabs on numbers, please leave your name below so that we can make sure that everyone is catered for.

I hope that we are able to broadcast details live online during the evening for those who live in the far flung reaches (I will conform details of this nearer the time).

I am also spending the whole week in the UK and I will arrange meet ups with members who are interested. It's obviously not possible to meet everyone, it depends on who might be interested.

I am travelling up to Scotland straight after the AGM and will meet Scottish members in a mutually convenient location (probably in either Glasgow or Edinburgh or between the two).

I also hope to travel down south after this so a meet up near Guildford/Woking/Reading sor of area is possible.

We will spend the next month developing an agenda of what members see as the most sensible way to develop LJN going forward.

A steering group and chairman elect are two items that will be discussed/voted upon at the meeting.

Please leave your name below if you will be attanding the meeting.

  • In for the Scottish meet Phil, shall look out for updates.

Might I suggest Stirling as a good location given its near-mutual proximity to the cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee?

  • Yup I concur, Stirling would be good. I suggested the McRobert Centre on the other thread as a potential venue if there is a formal meeting.

I'm in the UK for a week, I have a car and I am prepared to travel to areas (including Wales:) where there's enough interest from members to warrant the travel.

  • unfortunaly Birmingham is a good 3 hour drive for me from North West Wales so il have to give it a miss real shame
