tried tonite for at least an hour done the wd and oil but to no avail had it open for mot two weeks ago.Could lock or key be worn
Not sure about this particular vehicle but "grease bonnet latch" is a part of the service schedule often overlooked.
Had this the other day just use a screwdriver to carefully remove rubber cover from grill and ensure key hole is lining up correctly. if needed you can carefully give the grill a little push backwards to the lock to ensure the key locates in the hole properly as found this to be the problem with mine that the key would not go into the lock far enough and then give it plenty of lube (WD40) to loosen it up have noticed my garage quite often misses this on service.
you might have already tried but try pushing down on the bonnet while turning the key
thanks for the replies lads couldnt get it open so had to get a new key cut £56 opened first turn
