Have you installed this? Jobber app
I would love it if they added offline app that i could at least view my client list...
Right then, it seems it isn't me after all.
Id already searched Google Play on my phone and couldn't find Jobber! It found 250 other apps with a similar name but not Jobber. Looked at your link on my PC and there it was. So I've just gone onto LJN on my phone, found this thread and followed your link.
It takes me to the Jobber app but says it is "not compatible on this device"
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 so it's not ancient. This is a bit disappointing.
I wonder if there are still routing problems for US sites while it settles down ?
This will always be a problem with cloud based solutions..if you loose 3/4G reception or their servers go down..... :-( I agree an offline cache on your local device would be sooooo useful that re-syncs on detection / connection...
I bought a 7" tablet for using the jobber out and about and tether off my phone so I can invoice on the go.
If i was to buy another tablet I will definitely get a sim version as although tethering works, it's a bit haphazard at times. (Nothing to do with jobber)
Usually I don't use the mobile version and just look at it like it's on my PC as i find it easier to use.
They are improving the app all the time so I may have another tinker around with it this week.
Can't get access to The Times article, but similar in The Telegraph - The Day the Internet Broke...
It shows how vulnerable we all are ..and this was due to company changing something that should know better...imagine what could happen with cyber terrorism :-(
It seems the "phone interface" and the "app" are not the same thing.
The app is not compatible with my phone.
I am currently in conversation with Jobber via their live chat which I find very useful at this time of night. For some reason the cog icon is missing when displayed on my phone thus preventing me from switching to "phone interface" from the standard web interface which is too small to use practically on my phone. Although, apparently it should switch to "phone interface" automatically.
After posting yesterday I updated the app and have found it to be very good.
