Jan and Feb?

Hello folks,

Hope you all had a great christmas. I expect some of you have already started working again, I've decided not to start until the 4th.  I have a patio and some sleeper work to finish off which was halted due to the freezing temperatures. But nothing in the diary yet for afterwards...  What's the new year looking like for everyone else?

Got some jobs from December to catch up on and a few that I have lined up for January such as apple tree pruning and hedge reductions.

Not going back until the 10th as we've got relatives coming for the new year. The time off the tools has given me chance to catch up with other work related jobs though (plus an ever growing list of tasks provided by the wife !)

  • As we "officially" open on February 9th, we have a shed load of work to get done before then, having lost half of December due to snow.

A couple of Miners lamps could be needed for Dorset.

Saying that, if anyone is bored or at a loose end over the next month, we pay by the pint.  Half a days work ½ pint, and so on!

  • Sorry Rowly, pint of Piddle from the local brewery is the offer.

When did you last have a Piddle?

Agreed I'm prepared to do a days work for a pint!

That's a pint of Scorpion venom...do the maths..!
