Hi ,I have done ecobuild a few times its a very large show with a large price too be there, you do get a big footfall but I stopped going as I thought the show had lost its focus and was more about filling space then the quality of exhibitor .
Its hard too say it works for some folks and not for other ,but its not cheap too do
Chris who is the show aimed at b2c or b2b
Ecobuild is now a pretty enormous show, with a frankly ridiculous price to pay for exhibiting. As Peak Surfacing has mentioned there is a very large footfall, but I found when I was on a stand there a few years back (I was representing our company on a waterproofing manufacturers stand) that despite talking for hours on end to people and getting lots of positive feedback from people there, we didn't get a single enquiry! This was the case with quite a few other companies by all accounts. If you haven't got a huge budget I wouldn't bother. I've been a few times and would say that the majority of people who go there are students (architecture, design etc) and people from within the industries represented looking to keep an eye on their competitors and new products. That said the seminars can be very informative and as an information gathering exercise it can be very good. I have to think it's reached something of a peak as far as size goes though.
