what about the issue of the turf drying out? I can see in hot weather the square bits in the covers drying off quite fast? Does you specify a water retaining substrate or is their a built in well layer?
Hi David
Whereas I was of the same mind initially, we have been selling these products for over three years now without problem. In fact they have just recently been adopted by the Commonwealth graves commission in France for all sites after having been fully tested, several hundred covers.
They are 100 or 80mm deep which offers a good rootzone and have a double filtration layer stopping any detritus from entering the foul/freshwater system.
At the end of the day...no rain, the grass WILL dry out but this is in relation to the surrounding lawn and not the cover.
Hope this helps
Al
