Inspection chamber covers for lawns

Hi.

As a landscaper, I always hated those ugly inspection covers stuck in the middle of my newly turfed lawn or those recessed trays that sat in the middle of a gravel driveway that were very slippy and easily lost the gravel inside.

This is why we developed the Grass and gravel top range and I would like to bring these products to your attention. We can drop-ship direct to site next day and you can order over the phone, paying by card or BACS.

  • what about the issue of the turf drying out? I can see in hot weather the square bits in the covers drying off quite fast? Does you specify a water retaining substrate or is their a built in well layer?

  • Hi David

Whereas I was of the same mind initially, we have been selling these products for over three years now without problem. In fact they have just recently been adopted by the Commonwealth graves commission in France for all sites after having been fully tested, several hundred covers.

They are 100 or 80mm deep which offers a good rootzone and have a double filtration layer stopping any detritus from entering the foul/freshwater system.

At the end of the day...no rain, the grass WILL dry out but this is in relation to the surrounding lawn and not the cover.

    Hope this helps

    Al
