  My accountant did it for me before Xmas.

  Friend of mine in the same business hasnt even looked at his, and always leaves it till the last days, lots of headaches and hassle but he doesnt learn, same every year.

  I also like to do it early so did mine last april on paper but for 2010 -2011 will have a go online as i believe you get the result there and then.

  best thing about online, is that you can go on and get a result (i.e how much you need to pay) without actually submitting it.

   

  it is really easy with headings of which section you need to put your expenses under.

   

  this means that you can enter it early, - make sure you save the right amount, and also find out if there are any accountancy sleights of hand that you can use to make it less (i.e moving moneys to a different year, - interest paymens, capital expenditure etc

  I do always mean to do this, but always find myself hitting the enter button on about the 28th/29th Jan (don't leave it to the last day unless you want to spend all day on the computer as there are many others that do this and it takes hours to get it to submit

  Yes, I have been tinkering with mine all day!  I keep finding things that I have forgotten to put on - public liability insurance, phone insurance, plants bought on the market.  It is so hard to keep track of all the little bits and pieces!

  Our accountant does it too complicated for me, we have a partnership and a limited company usually have to wait for my bro to do the books for the partnership.
