Help with designing flyer
Hi all
Im pretty new to this and this is my first post. Im having trouble desiging my flyers for my landscaping business.
Im just wondering if anyone can send me any templates, one of their flyers or links to design websites that would be useful

have a chat with your small local printers (not a franchised one) they can design a professional looking leaflet and will do you a proof,a lot of small printers dont charge very much for design and are after any work, and what you think looks good when designed by yourself doesnt always!
they will also advise you on paper weight and depending on quantity wether digital or litho printing is best

It is also very easy to make a silly mistake when doing your own.
The first year we did activities over the Christmas period no one pointed out my mistake until afterwards.
Christmas week activities
Coffee Morning - 11am to 12 pm every day Boxing Day to New Year's Eve
Boxing Day - 3pm to 5pm Children's film event, a chance for them to see their new film on the big screen
Saturday - 7pm to 9pm Fun Quiz Night
Sunday - 7pm to 9pm Race Night, Christmas cheer is going to the dogs
Monday - 7 to 9pm Adult Film Night
Tuesday - 7pm to 9pm Bingo
On one of the events it was me and a strange guy in a long mac watching the new St Trinians film.

i think one of the main things when doing cards and flyers is the contact details.
if this is you starting out freash then dont use a mobile number on its own have a land line on it aswell, this ties you down and removes some of the possibility of you being a fly by night white van landscaper.
also try to keep the flyer short but informative, most people will see the essey infront of them and file it straight in the bin.
if you have a look trough the forum discussions on here you will find many many more tips that people have posted about advertising so its worth haveing a look trough
