Help in finding a charity to help a client.

I have a client who has a wheelchair bound child and is hoping to develop there new garden so that she can use it as well.

My question is, does anyone know of any charity's out there that help people fund this type of work. They have found plenty of ones that help inside but are struggling for outside.

  • Can you give me a bit more info, clients occupation, age and disability of child, county that they live in etc. Happy to see what I can find with the right info. xx

  • Could give Groundwork a go, they recycled alot of landscaping materials at the chelsea flower show for use with the elderly and children with special needs. If they cant help then im sure they will know a charity who can! Good luck!

  • It may be better if you find a designer who can design your garden and you might be able to do a deal where they can use your garden to show new clients around as a show garden. The benefits are that you get a garden you want fairly cheaply, but have to allow the designer to show new clients around. I did see this in the past somewhere.

  • Thanks Lindsey, i will speak to them this week, they tend to keep to them selves so not sure if they will want to give out that info but it doesn't hurt to ask.
