Landscape and Horticulture Association - Landscape Juice Network

Open association for the landscape and garden for industry

Hi everyone

I am interested to know how many members pop in and read the content on a regular basis and indeed is there anything that I can do to improve the experience for you?

If you regularly pop in but don't log-on, could you leave a short message (even if it just the word 'yes') so I can get an idea.

If the site is not hitting the sweet spot for you then perhaps you could think of a way of adding improvements - bear in mind that much information, to be useful to others, needs to be added by another member who has had the experience.

Hi Phil,
I pop in once or twice a day to read threads and occassionally post...more of a lurker at the moment as i'm stupidly busy....as we all are this time of year!

LJN is top of the league as forums and info goes...I generally dont look elsewhere as there are so many people on here with great knowledge and help. Dont go changing. I haven't used the chat yet tho.

Have a good bank holiday...I'm off to do some work this morning as the weeds dont stop growing on bank holidays!!!

Hi Phil,
I look at the web site every couple of days, briefly. (V busy with work with all this sunshine).

If I have more time, I search for aspects of the day the day running of the business and source answers that could do with some advise. I found the pay/charges chat very interesting.

I would be very interested in the site being able to promote my irrigation products to the fellow members, any recommendations?

Can I also ask what these comments you made ment. (still new to 'web world' and have lots to learn). see below:

I would also hide the site map and remove the 'add to favourites' link.

p.s. and of course, adding regular text by the way of a blog will assist greatly.

The best way to promote your products or services is to write a discussion or blog on the subject, telling people how and what you can offer. Another way would be to advertise on the left hand side, see Phil about the latter. This will enable Phil to offer more services and keep the running of this site.

A blog with descriptive pictures, as a picture is worth a thousand words, will show people what you can offer in an interesting and informative way.

This can be for anybody, whether they have products to offer or a service, for instance "TVG Landscaping" wrote about the installation of a resin bound aggregate for a driveway in Worthing, in an informative and interesting but promotional way.

You should be your best sales person, knowing your products/services/USP better than anybody. So go promote!

I tend to pop in every time I get a message from you, to check it out. Also browse the photos regularly - it is a source of great inspiration! I would like to use the online chat facility more, to make new friends - if anybody sees me there, please say hello, I am quite friendly!

Hi Phillip,
I am a new user, but find your site both useful in a business and personal sense. I will be a regular user, depending on workload
