Hi All,

whats the average price you are paying for tipping green waste?  I know this will vary around different parts of the country but I`m just trying to get an average

My waste disposal costs have just gone up by £5 on each level - my local centre now charges:

£20  small trailer or van

£25 large flat bed trailer or large van

£30 large high sided trailer

£35 trucks and 7.5 ton lorries

Then they compost it and sell it back to us.....

£60 per ton (minimum price so if I got half a ton its still £60) council run Tip in Buckinghamshire,
£30 per ton. £30 minimum price

£24/ tonne minimum - Telford, Shropshire

£20 per tonne £ 8.60 minimum     SITA Blackpool

£16 tonne minimum                      D Sriverns Westby

Min charge £25 and then goes up depending upon weight but always seems a bit hit and miss to me.

I am currently paying anything from £50 for approx. 400 KG to over £100 for 1000 KG and I dump off every day.

£65 per tonne on the weighbridge with a minimum of £12 or £20 - £25 per load tipped off on a farm, price depending which way the wind blows.

Obviously doesn't take into account transport time etc.

Nick.
£32.50 per tip. So with my tipper truck works out really well. I can get a hell of alot weight and volume of waste on my van, so in my opinion this is very cheap!

£15 per tipper load ( ldv convoy )  whether half full or bulging.

At another site its £30 tonne, minimum £5. Rotherham south yorkshire.

£20 per load no mater what

£30 a trailer and pick up full. Chesterfield

Some good prices there and Sita look to be pretty cheap.

Does anyone know of a site in Birmingham North that's non council ?

My local council site charge £150 min even for a small load.
