i been doing a garden for a while and it takes me 20 mins to clear up dog shxt and then i still end up missing some the tennant has locked me out of the back garden for 2 weeks because the last time i went i think i mulched a couple of apples
Apples, if they are good I pick them up. If going rotten they are mulched. Sounds like the tennants being an ar$e. If they wanted the apples so much jow come they did not pick them up. I'd have a word with the letting agent.

Fallen fruit needs to be cleared up before cutting grass - just part of the job. Dog poo should be cleared up by the tennant.
Apples yes, dog poo absolutely no.
We did some work for three local letting agents. Work was all like you described above and took ages to get paid. They may not be all the same but we don't do any work for them any more.
One garden we did the green bin was full of used nappies believe it or not and we were expected to get rid of it!
I hasten to add we told them politely where to stick it
normally i not have a problem picking up fallen fruit but when it mixed in with dog poo not so nice
What's wrong with mulched apples? Surely it's good for the lawn!
I only clear dog mess on one small domestic garden but plan to stop it next season... I blow the mess into the beds before starting. It takes 5 minutes to do so I have persisted for now.
Apples I would typically mow through them. The machines don't mind. Litter goes in residual waste bins on site, large items that have been fly tipped get reported to the site manager but left alone otherwise, dog poo on commercial sites gets mowed around and not touched.
I dropped a job earlier this year because of dog crap, I posted a topic on here about it. I had told the woman about it but every time i went there was loads of it. Too much to steer around. I dreaded going there, so after reading what everyones opinion was on here i politely told her i wasn't going to be doing it anymore.
as for apples and other fruit, I mow two orchards at a manor house and just mow the fallen fruit up. on normal gardens i would remove the fruit first so there wasn't a load of mushed up apples all over the place.
I have contracts with a property management company and i've not had any problems with any of their properties. I think it just depends on the tennents, there's going to be some good and some bad!!
Nor me. There must be some good letting agents around but the 3 we worked for were shocking. You had to continually hassle them to get paid. I know one other contractor who was waiting for their money for a year. No way was I putting up with that, I just kept ringing them and e-mailing them and they settled.

If your going to own a dog, clear up after it. If its the odd jobbie thats been missed then I can forgive that. Otherwise like Paul says its a health hazard. As for the apples I pick them up on the smaller jobs but add that on to the price if there are lots.
Wasps!
