Search is your friend.... :-)
This has been covered so many times it's like deja vu. Simple as, you need to be licensed, and you will have to pay. We even have a handy map of waste transfer sites, so please add yours to it.
Including the correct waste costs is a very basic part of pricing a job.
+1 to Paul's response.
Access the Waste Site map by either scrolling down & looking to the r/h side bar or Click here
When you apply for your waste license ensure it is a 100% legit .gov site and not one of the many 'broker sites' that try to get you pay for their 'admin services' on top of the license fee. The license is free to apply for, with the cost dependant on the license level.
Whatever you do, it 'costs' time and that time needs to be priced for....

Shredding / chipping will help reduce costs though but only IF you produce a hell of alot, otherwise the shredding and handling time cost will outweight the tip charge.
Realisticly - you will have to charge your customers to remove the waste.

speak to some local farmers, offer £20 a load and most will bite your hand off. I will be useful to speak to some in different areas as its handy to have them dotted around.

We get charged £24 per load up to a tonne, not a fortune?
Mine's £24 inc. VAT minimum fee. Just back from doing exactly that and it was a completely rammed trailer, plus the van packed full. Privet, laurel and a some small trees cut down, so not a light load by any means.
Trouble is the time. I was out at 7:30, just back at 9:30 as I need to drop the trailer. No work done until 10 today, so that has to be charged for as well as the tipping cost.
