Can anyone point me in the direction of free courses for 16 -19 in or around our line of work, in lancashire, asking for a family member.

Depending on the area they live the best people to ask will be http://www.myerscough.ac.uk/.

There has been short free courses in the past or maybe through an apprenticeship scheme.
