Find a gardener, landscaper or designer Google SERPS

The enhanced listings section of the 'find a landscaper, gardener or garden designer' is slowly being rolled out (there are still one or two bugs but I'm hope these will be fixed soon) with four members already subscribing to the counties* of their choice.

 

I've been testing the Google SERPS and I have to say, I'm returning impressive results since the revamp.

 

Using the search term 'find a landscaper in [add county]' in consistently bringing LJN up as the top result and in most cases, no worse than position 3 - of course, Google has a geographical slant so I'm not expecting these results consistently throughout the United Kingdom but I'm pleased thus far.

 

Bear in mind, these results come above Yell, Rated People, My Hammer, APL, BALI, SGD and for a starting price of just £1.00 per week - and with the added benefit of knowing you are supporting the network - it's relatively small investment for potentially big rewards.

 

I know of one LJN member who has won a £50,000 contract through the Landscape Juice Network and many others who've won smaller jobs.

 

My goal now is to work on bringing 'find a gardener in' and 'find a garden designer in'.

 

I'm happy to work with you to develop the system so it benefits you in the best way possible. For example, if you'd like each county landing page to be split into commercial and domestic, then say. If you'd like a separate page category for designer, landscaper and gardener, then say.

 

I'm hoping, one day, that I can develop a fully automated system.

I'm sorry ...I thought I'd responded to this.

 

This feature will get stronger over time and some counties are already higher in SERPS.

 

Please also bear in mind that the county page is only part of it. Your advert appears at the base of over 7,000 articles too.

Does not come up if you put in, garden services............, gardening.........., or the likes. Only seems to work with "find a gardener in ...............". Is it limited to search under just that search phrase or does it just need "opened" up more, if you know what I mean !!!!!

I'm sorry this wasn't drawn on Saturday as promised but I've just made the first draw from our list of enhanced listings.

 

Claire Brown of Plantpassion was drawn using www.random.org (the number drawn was 7). Claire's listing will appear on the LJN front page for 7 days.

What happens if people don't put "find a" in front? I don't think I would search for that if I was Googling something, I'd probably just put in "landscapers London" or similar...

Yes, of course, not everyone will search using this as their criteria and LJN will not appear in the SERPS for all searches or if it does, it might be lower down.

 

It'll take time to conquer but for just £1.00 per week, it's a low risk strategy from an advertising point of view.
