Hi I finally signed up after a while of just lurking around.

My names Justin Jones from F R Jones and Son we are machinery and tool dealers in South East London, but have a large database of customers from all over the UK through our website. We also have stands at Saltex and all the Arb shows as well as our own show in kent once a year.

It will take me a short while to get the hang of this forum, but I'm no virgin as I'm on Arbtalk every day and with over 3000 post on there the wife's going to do one when she finds out I've found another. lol

If you have any questions or banter to throw my way fell free, I'm not here to hard sell anything just join in and see things from your side of the fence.

Welcome Justin, Ive seen *(im a lurker there...) your comments on Arbtalk - so if your as helpful here as there youl be very welcome!

Your a little far down south for me to use - Although your reputation on service is good enough to tempt me...

Hi Roy

An answer to your question about the drive on the Masport. I had a look at one today with one of our mechanics, he explained that the chain can be adjusted and is often loose when they come in. Also if the machine dropped on the rear roller it can bend the height adjuster and cause the roller to jam on the deck this will also pull the chain out of adjustment. Have a look. Hope this helps.

Mine came loose last season (it's first season) so the drive was jerking, got it sorted at my local machine shop for half an hour labour, reallign the chain.

Hi Justin

Many thanks for that, most helpful. To avoid boring other members I'll email you at the office with a very brief video of the slack chain.

Hi Justin

Just like to second everything that has been said already, I'm based up in Cheshire but after the service I received just after Christmas, I will deffinately be shopping at Jones`s again in the future.  I purchased a great product, at a great price after being reccomended on here, but I was gobsmacked at how quick your service was. Brilliant.

Look forward to anything you can bring to the table re; machinery
