Giving a guestimation how many lawn cuts would you expect do on your daily rounds ?.

If you are a two man team how many then ?.

i know it depends on size and other issues .

This is just hypothetical ...so no angry replies :).

Hi John

I work on my own and all my work is within 2 miles. I can manage 10 to 13, starting at 8.30 and finishing  5 to 5.30. In previous years I  have been doing more as I could not say no to more work but at my age by the time I have done 13 I have had enough so its "no" to more work this year.

One + me used to do 20-25 gardens a day, front, sides and back. All with in a 10 mile radius and done in a 12 hour shift. Hard, hard shift though for not ( IMO) much money. Gave all my small domestics up when i moved over to commercial, still much prefer commercial work.

I know of two guys in Bucks who do 28 between them a day, 5 days a week but ... all the lawns on small back gardens no front and all on estates very close to each other.

We would average around 15-20 a day, 2 man team working 8am to 6pm.

I don't really do a lawn list now, but when we did we would hit them every Thursday and do 18 in a day and be done by 1 or 2pm (depending on growth) and then go on a strim a large cemetery. So 5 - 6 hours, 18 lawns, 5 mile radius.

Hi JP

Two of us normaly manage 12-14 a day ( 8.30-4) .Of course it depends on size but after filling a 10x5 trailer with grass and  hardly any room for the mowers and also the time it takes to unload the grass at a nearby farm for the cows to eat I've had enough.

How longs a piece of string?!

As long or as short as you want to cut it :-)
