It's a bonus John, appreciated but not anticipated - which makes it special.

As Paul has said...customers can start with a smile and a thank you, follow it up with timely payment and continued work.

These liittle extras are the icing on the cake
just received a birthday present from one of my customers, - totally unexpected, and lovely.
I have a few customers who give gifts at Christmas its really nice, last year one client left a Molton & Brown gift bag but due to the snow and the winter schedule I didn't receive it until March so it turned out to be a Birthday gift.

I used to give a gift to my garden design clients, when we completed a build. I left a terracotta pot with some hand cream, tea, biscuits & sweets if they had children. So they can have a cuppa in the new garden. I leave some business cards should they want to recommend my services. I stopped doing it not sure why but I think I start again especially as it supports my friends gift basket business, reallly really top quality gift baskets for Christmas, Weddings and Birthdays. Jo always has a theme for her Christmas baskets I think you guys will like this years theme. Take a look at the website http://wickersgiftbaskets.com
