Hi Brendon, was size of company are you ? do you work yourself or have employees ?. One way is too get in touch with all the PMC's around you and ask to get on their supplier list. Call them and try to get to speak to a contracts manager and sell your services to them. PMC's usually prefer company's with employees and VAT registered, but they do use one man set-ups also. I see you are SAFEcontractor accredited, that will go in your favour. Another way into commercial is getting signed up by one of the big grounds maintenance contracts management company's, like Benchmark, ISS, Ground Control etc etc. They will all (most likely) want to see your qualifications, RHS, NVQ, NPTC, Lantra etc and you will probably have to have, if you don't already have it, 5 & 10 mil worth of insurance cover. The only problem with dealing with the big contracts company's is they "can" sometimes overwhelm you with sites, so be carefull you dont overfill your plate with work from them.

You will also need a current set of RAMS.

You can also phone up all the local company's in your surrounding industrial estates, try a bit of marketing with a quality leaflet drop, or just drop in and ask to see the General Manager of the factory or office.

Sounds like you have a structure in place, especially being SAFEcontractor accredited.  As previous poster said, put your name about and turn up at all the local industrial estates.  You will be surprised at how much work is actually out there

Being thick here... PMC's and RAMS?
