I have been asked to provide a quote for supplying and erecting a 83m long and 1.8m high chestnut cleft pale fence. Ive never done one of these before and was wandering if anyone had a rough idea how much the materials cost and how long it would take to erect? Just a ball park figure will do, thanks.

Normally use stakes would imagine you would need 2.4 m stakes every 1.8m. depends on ground conditions as to how long it will take. Quite easy to put up thou you may need to put straining posts in too. Below will give you a idea of cost.

You could also try AVS fencing I have used them before
