Bank opening hours what a joke

Like many others I find bank opening hours disgusting 9.30 -3.30 Monday to Friday.I used to use the paying in machines in morrisons ,but that was to easy for everyone so they now closed them.nowadays there is supposed to be a customer service agent to take people out of the que who are not paying in but 90% of the time they are absent.If I need to pay a cheque in today I have to drive 8-10 miles to use a automated machine in the bank.I would welcome a high street bank dedicated to small businesses only they would be swamped with customers willing to pay a small fee for better service.Come on virgin money take us up on the challenge of opening high street branches 6 days a week with proper opening times.i know one of the main banks does this already but the are always long ques created by someone wanting to discuss better options for their isa due to their being no support staff only cashiers at unsocial banking hours ie after 3.30.Let's start a campaign for business only branches,because we are the ones that make the banks hugh profits.

When you start work at 7am and finish at 5pm and don't work near a town centre,it's not that helpful
.A tradesmen bank could be located on a retail park near a screw fix on b& q depot,also plenty of free parking,

I use the free banking with the FSB Cooperative and I can pay in at my Post Office which even opens on a Saturday morning!

Prior to that I was with A&L which also used the Pst Office Network.

I don't have the need to go into the bank often as I do most of it online, occasionally going in with cash but that can be a 2-min stop en-route between jobs so no hassle.

Blimey, 0900 till 12 or 12.30, no counter service (have to use a machine, even for paying in cash, closed Mondays, but open Sat am........Viva la France! You can make special appointments for loans etc in the afternoon, but usually only between 2pm and 3pm.............
