Off work today with a very painfull back ache which i think was brought on after cutting a hedge and obviously twisting/stretching too much. Felt the strain straight away and then 3 or 4 hours later after laying on the floor for awhile my back felt like it would snap in half if i stood up straight.

Feels alittle better today but too painfull to work.

Was just wondering. How often do you have days off [ or have to struggle through ] due to injuries, strains or general wear n tear?

If you can get it on wheels use the wheels not your back!

I would listen to the physio, not her dad... if you can't lift the bag the way she suggests, THE BAG IS TOO HEAVY! Use a trolley, roll/drag the bag instead. Backs are for life, not just the current project.

i remember years ago did my back in lifting 1cwt bags of cement (paper bags) the young physio demonstrated how to lift the bags with a pillow i bit my tong then said it was imposable to lift one like that on the next visit i was tempted to take a bag but due to my back i could not lift it but it turned out that her dad was a builder and she asked him about them and he agreed with me

I used to suffer from them all the time, and ended up slipping a disk in my back when I was lifting some turf, not good! I now use a back support in the garden though, it's proved very helpful

Stick to selling chimineas and you should be ok :)
