Have you signed your business up to twitter and if so, what do you think about being a twit?

Do you tweet a lot??... does it benefit your business??

yes (well every day) and yes, - it's my equivalent of the water cooler, and a way of keeping in touch with my business friends, and those with similar interests to me without having to take time out of my work schedule to network.
I do but only for social use

I thought the whole thing was a bit old hat but I have to say that TweetDeck rolling all of the SMN apps into one place actually makes it interesting. It's like a visual version of RSS feeds. I think I might actually get into it.

Yes, loads from Ljn use it.

Your missing a trick John, I've had several jobs from it, you can link it to your website and it's quite fun.

There is a lot of noise on Twitter I do agree John but there's great potential there too. Twitter's local or worldwide: it depends on how you use it.

Give it a go...use local places and suppliers etc - you might be surprised.

If you are keen to explore Twitter more their Twitter for Business section is worth a browse.

Hi all, I have been experimenting with Twitter for several weeks now and think there is a great deal of potential for generating new work leads.

I even had John Cleese following me for an hour or so , which was pretty strange !

Thanks for all your replies..

I'm going to look into it further.

I'm not an addict but I do tweet when I can. For me it's about building relationships. I've enjoyed getting to know people through twitter including LJN members. I recently had an urgent need for some advice on a planting scheme. Through twitter I was able to very quickly contact Libby on an evening who very kindly spent some time on the phone with Mrs B. It's also great for research and general interest.

Hi Clive,

I tweet!  I do it for business not socially, I am newish too it but I can see the power of online networking in my view you can never do enough networking.  I would say give it a try, if it's not for you delete your account.  if it is, let me know you've joined and I'll follow you :)
