I hope everyone remembered to put their clocks forward one hour last night?

We may have lost an hour in bed but at least we've gained an hour of gardening time in in the evening. That's, potentially, an extra 5 hours of profitability.

Do you take advantage of the extra working hour?

  • We will be working overtime over the next few weeks to try and carry out work for those customers that call up and want it done yesterday! also I have been having to price up and see new customers either during the day or over the weekend due to the day light hours so it will be great to get a full days work done and see them on the way home! I may even get some work done in my own garden!!

  • Any chance we can stop the clocks for a month?
Isn’t nature wonderful, it swamps us for weeks and weeks on end, then mischievously throws in a few days in the 20’s before the end of March to bring spring forward, while we are chasing our backsides still trying to catch up.

  • It must be different in Northern Ireland; we gained an hour in the evening, like you, but we lost an hour in the morning, so no net benefit here. And the virgins aren't strolling the lawns yet.

  • Certainly not lol!............ enjoy the longer evenings....... 8 hours work is quite enough for me and if I earn't any extra money, the missus would just spend it.
