Acoustics

Hi Everyone,

 

It struck me today that the progress of a garden building is marked by a change in its acoustic. I'm building a cedar dining area in a semi rural area and today clad one of two sides, the other two are going to be left open. The change in acoustic was almost subliminal but as in a previous life I had worked in an environment where the quality of sound was important I realized that I was now shielded from the sound of some trees blowing in the wind and a distant road. Its a very subtle change from an exterior to interior acoustic, and this was one step on the way..
