A tribute to Trigger

I hope you don't mind a little self-indulgence?

As Only Fools and Horses played a big part in my life I really do feel a great sense of loss at the passing of Trigger aka Roger Lloyd Pack.

I don't know about you but I can watch Only Fools over and over again and still laugh my socks off. All the actors are class but if I were forced to single out a favourite it would be Trigger.

I know we've got the repeats to remember Trigger by but I guess, now, there can never be a special made now that Trig's gone.

Here are some classics to enjoy...what are your favourites?

This video of Trigger's new broom is the best I could find but it's still hilarious:)

  • Legend! will be greatly missed!

  • I was thinking about this yesterday. we recently had so many people climbing over each other to pay tributes to a politician who passed away, and no doubts he was a great man, yet somebody like this, for years literally came into our homes and made us laugh again and again, gets a small mention at the end of the news. He was a true talent and I have to say had more direct effect on my life by making me smile than any world greats ever could. Thank you Roger!

  • For me his classic role was Jake 'The Klingon' Klinger - in 2point4 children. Pure genius.

  • The absolute master of deadpan,80s icon, great memories
