  Climate change and global warming is being used by many governments as a means to push through additional taxes and introducing other measures, without actually tackling the problem properly and effectively which could have been done without causing as much disruption to the public as is now inevitable.
  
  Global warming is also a bit of a false statement for the UK, as freshwater from ice melt seeps into the Artic it will push the North Atlantic Conveyor further south - result: more extreme winters and weather phenomen for UK and Europe and very wet summers.
